The length of a rectangular plot of land is twice its breadth. If the perimeter of the plot be 180 meters, then find its area by heron's formula

Answer:

let the breadth and the length of the plot be x and 2x respectively

perimeter=2(length+breadth)

180=2(2x+x)

180=4x+2x

180=6x

x=180/6

x=30

2x=2×30

2x=60

Area=60×30

Area=1800
