Solution : Let each original side of triangle be = x cm.

               So, the perimeter of triangle = x+x+x cm = 3x cm.

             Let each new side of triangle be = x+5 cm

               Similarly, perimeter of new triangle = ( x+5) +(x+5) +(x+5).

                                                 = 3x+15 = 72

              Therefore, 3x = 72-15 = 57cm.

          So, the perimeter of original triangle is 57cm.

          Now, the length of each side = 57/3 cm  = 19 cm.
