Solution : Let, breadth of the rectangle be x cm.

Therefore, length = (2x+2)cm

Perimeter=2 (Length+Breadth)

= 82 = 2 x ( x + 2x + 2 )

= 82 + 2 x ( 3x + 2 )

= ( 3x + 2 ) = 41

= 3x = 39

= x = 13

Therefore,

Breadth = 13cm.

Length = 213+2cm=28cm.

Answer :

•     Length = 28cm.

•     Breadth = 13cm.
