ANSWER :

Let the breadth of rectangular field be x cm.

Length = 4x

=> According to the question

Area of Rectangular field = 400 cm sq.
Length × Breadth = 400
4x × x = 400
4 {x}^{2} = 400
 {x}^{2} = 400 ÷ 4
{x}^{2} = 100
x = \sqrt {100}
x = 10

=> Breadth = x = 10 cm

=> Length
4x
4 × 10
40 cm.

Hope It Helps!

Solutions :-

Let the breadth be x
So, Length = 4x

Given : Area of rectangular field = 400 cm²

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth
=> 400 = 4x × x
=> 400 = 4x²
=> 400/4 = x²
=> √100 = x = 10

Therefore,
Length = 4x = 4 × 10 = 40 cm
Breadth = x = 10 cm

Find the perimeter of rectangular field :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( Length + Breadth)
= 2(40 + 10)
= 2 × 50
= 100

Hence,
Perimeter of rectangular field = 100 cm
