Answer:

5400m^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Breadth=X

Length =2X

Height =3

Area of the wall=2X*3=180

=2X=180/3=60

X=60/2=30

Volume =60*30*3=5400m^3

Given data :-

  • The length of room is double the breadth.
  • Height of room is 3m.
  • Area of the 4 walls is 180 m².

Solution :-

Let, the breadth of the room be x

→ Breadth ( B ) = x

Hence,

{According to given}

→ Length ( L ) = 2x

→ Height ( B ) = 3 meter.

Now here,

→ Area four wall = 2 (L + B) × h

→ 180 = 2( 2x + x ) × 3

→ 180 = 2( 3x ) × 3

→ 180 = 2( 9x )

→ 180 = 18x i.e.

x = 180/18

→ x = 10 {10 meter}

Hence,

→ Breadth = x = 10 meter

→ Length = 2x = 2 × 10 = 20 meter

Now we use formula of volume {for room}

→ volume of room = L × B × H

→ volume of room = 20 × 10 × 3

→ volume of room = 200 × 3

→ volume of room = 600

Hence, the volume of the room is 600 cubic meter.
