To Find :

  • measure of Length of base side

Solution :

  • Length of hypotenuse = 65cm
  • Measure of perpendicular = 33cm

By using Pythagoras theorem :

Hypotenuse ² = base² + perpendicular ²

⟶ 65² = b² + 33²

⟶ 4225 = 1089 + b²

⟶ b² = 4225 - 1089

⟶ b² = 3136

⟶ b = √3136

⟶ b = 56cm

Answer:

(hypotenuse)^2= (base)^2+(altitude)^2

(65)^2=(base)^2+(33)^2

4225=base^2+1089

4225-1089=base ^2

base=√3136

base=56
