The length of the rectangular ground is three times its breadth. If the perimeter of the ground is 96m.find the cost of the growing grass on its at the rs 65 per sq metre​

let breadth is x m

so length is 3x m

perimeter =2(x+3x) m=8x m

8x=96

=> x=96/8=12

so,length =3×12 m=36m

breadth =12 m

area =36×12 sq m=432 sq m

cost of growing grass on the rectangular ground at the rate Rs 65 per sq m is

Rs 432×65 = Rs 28080
