Hello,

Here we go,

Let a, b and c be the sides of triangle.

a = 5cm

b = 12cm

c = 13

s = a+b+c/2 = 5+12+13/2=30/2=15cm

So,

s-a = 10cm

s-b = 3cm

s-c = 2cm

By using the herons formula,

Area of triangle=

√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

√15x10x3x2= 5x2x3= 30cm²

I hope my answer will help you.
