Here is your answer,

List Price=840

Discount %=25%(d%)

Selling price for wholesaler={(100-d%)/100}*L.P.

                                         ={(100-25)/100}*840

                                         ={75/100}*840

                                          =0.75*840

                                         =630

Cost price for retailer=Selling price for wholesaler

Cost price for retailer=630

Profit  %age=15%

Selling Price={(100+g%)/100}*C.P.

                  ={(100+15)/100}*630

                  =(115/100)*630

                  =(23/20)*630

                  =(23/2)*63

                  =724.5

Ans:-He should sell the fan at 724.5 Rupees to earn a profit of 15%.
