the magnify lens has focal length of 100 mm of an object whose size is 16 mm is placed at same distance from the lens so that an image is formed at a distance of 25 cm in front of the lens.
(a) what is the distance between object and the lens.
i need proper calculation. pls........

hello, I have a solution for you....
you may know a formula of magnification
m= (f-v)/f
you have f(distance of image from the lens)=25cm=250mm
and f (focal length)=100mm
you may put the values and you can get the answer. The answer is 7.5mm.
Hope this helps.......

priyadharhini: what is f here
yash369: it is focal length...do u need its derivation??
priyadharhini: yes of course
yash369: okk....
yash369: u know the lens formula?
priyadharhini: will you post derivations pls...
yash369: first tell me do you know lens formula...
priyadharhini: yes, 1/f =1/v - 1/u
priyadharhini: will u post pls.....
yash369: yaah...
