mass of gas = mass of filled cylinder - mass of empty cylinder
= 30 kg 250 gm - 14 kg 480 gm
=15 kg 770 gm

Given:

Mass of the cylinder = 30kg

Gas filled = 250 gm

Mass of empty cylinder = 14kg

Gas filled = 480 gms

To Find:

Mass of the gas contained in cylinder

Solution:

1 kg = 1000 g

Mass of the gas-filled cylinder = 30 kg 250 g

= 30.25 kg

Mass of an empty cylinder = 14 kg 480 g

= 14.48 kg

Thus,

Mass of gas contained in cylinder = Gas contained cylinder - empty cylinder

= 30.25  ‒ 14.48

= 15.77 kg

= 15 kg 770 g

Answer : The Mass contained in cylinder is 15 kg and 770 g
