There are 16 numbers, and their mean is 8.Let their sum be S.
So mean = S/16 =8.
If two is added to each number , the sum increases by 16 x 2 = 32.To find the mean we divide by 16, so mean = (S+32)/16 =8+2 =10Hence the new mean is 10
So mean = S/16 =8.

there is a simple solution ,if 2 is added in each number then add 2 in the mean i.e. 8 +2 =10
