The mean of 5 numbers is 8 out of which mean of four numbers is 7 .Then find the fifth number.

4 no. of mean Is 7... nd mean = x / n here n=4 and mean is 7 so 7*4 = 28
and mean of 5 no. is 8....thats mean a no. which is divisible by 5 and comes out 8 that digit is 40.....so I jst add 28+_=40....so ans. is 12
