The mean salary paid to 1000 employees of a factory was found to be Rs.2804. Later on it was discovered that the wages of two employees were wrongly taken as 2970 and 3650 instead of 3970 and 4650 . Find the correct mean

s=2804*1000

s=2804000

Correct mean=2804000-3970-4650+2970+3650/1000

=2804000-8620+6620/1000

=2,810,620-8620/1000

=2,802,000/1000

Correct mean=2802
