Answer:

The weight of 1 mole of gaseous sample is 40 g

Explanation:

1 Liter (NTP) = 1.78 g of density

1 mole of gaseous sample (NTP) contains = volume of 22.4 liters.

To find, 22.04 liters = ? of density of gas

1.78 g of gas = 1 L at NTP \rightarrow equation 1

x g of gas = 22.4 liters \rightarrow equation 2

Cross multiply the equation (1) and (2)

\frac{1.78}{x}=\frac{1}{22.4}

x \times 1  = 1.78 \times 22.4

x = 39.9

x = 40 g
