the method by which DNA can be seperated from agarose gel after electrophoresis is ELUTION.
Elution means removal of adsorbent
after electrophoresis,
the seperated DNA fragments can be seen only after staining with a compound known as EtBr( ethidium bromide) followed by exposure to UV radiation.
then, DNA fragments are visible as Bright coloured orange bands.
To perfrom, elution step, the above described process should be followed compulsorily.
