From gas law,
PV= RT ..for 1 mole of gas..
we know Mass of gas = mol. weight×no of moles.. so for 1 mole, weight of gas = its mol. weight. so here weight of gas is 45g.
now divide both sides by M(mass). then u get
PM=dRT..(d=density)
Now at STP, P=1 atm, R=0.0821,T=273.15,M=45
solving the equation u get d =2 (approx)
