kinetic energy is 1/2mv^2
then mass of heavy body is greater than the lighter than then kinetic energy of heavy body is greater than the lighter

For heavy body, K.E(h)= p^2/2M  For light body, K.E(l)= p^2/2m  K.E(l)/K.E(h)= M/m  Since M>m, K.E(l) will be greater whiche means lighter body will have greater kinetic energy
