we know that length=angle in rad * distanceafter converting 42 sec to radians we get 0.0122173 so length of the diameter of the moon will be 0.0122173 * 360000. The answer will come out to be 4398 km but the given data is wrong as the actual diameter of the moon is 3474 km.
