William Endicott was born in Massachusetts and was graduated from Harvard University in 1847. Endicott served on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court until 1882. During his visit to Boston, Helen helped William Endicott and his daughter. Next she visited their home in Beverly farms and also met their dogs and horses. The best part was to enjoy their company at the beach in Brewster. Endicott told the stories of the great ships that sail on the ocean to Helen. Moreover, this connection motivated her to call the Boston ‘A city of kind hearts’.
