19th century is India was an overall creative period in many spheres. The nationalism reached at its peak during this time.

During this time social and cultural awakening if India was witnessed. Social reformers like Raja Ramomhan Roy, Vidyasagar, and other creative genius introduced lots of social reformations for making the society more breathable.

It was an overall growth and maturity of the nation and that made the period remarkable for reformation and new awakening.
