Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Power (P) = 60 W

Voltage (V) = 220 V

Time (T) = 1 min = 60 Sec

Charge of an electron (q) = 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ C

To Calculate :-

Numbers of electron (n) = ???

Formula to be used :-

= I × T/Q                           ..... Eq (i)

Solution :-

Since in this equation/case we do not know the value of I, therefore our prime aim is to find the value of I using the formula,

⇒ I = P/V

⇒ I = 60/220

⇒ I = 3/11 A

Substituting this value of I and the value of t and in eq (i), we get

⇒ n = 3/11 × 60/1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹

⇒ n = 180 × 10¹⁹/11 × 1.6

⇒ n = 1.02 × 10²⁰  Electrons.

Hence , the Numbers of electron (n) is  1.02 × 10²⁰  Electrons.
