The number of electrons that can be accommodated in the m,n orbit is eight ....but why as m can hold 16 and n 32....

Hello.......
It is because in up coming shells the electrons increases as per the atomic number. The formula for it is 2n^2. you can use this to know how much electron can be fit into the shell.
