Given :- mass of H₂O is 32g

To find :- Number of water molecules in 32g of H₂O

So we have to find out number of mole first so we have to calculate the molar mass H₂O Which is

H₂O = 1 × 4+ 16 = 18 g / mol

Number of mole of H₂O = given mass H₂O ÷ molar mass of H₂O

n = 32÷ 18

= 1.7 mole of water

For molecules we have

n = no. of molecules ÷ 6.022 × 10²³

Therefore ; n × 6.022 × 10²³ = no of molecules of H₂O

Which is 10.23 × 10²³ molecules of H₂O present in 32g of H₂O .
