so numerator will be x -4

According to question,

{ (x - 4 )+1 } / x = 1/2

or,( x - 3 )/ x = 1/2

or, x = 2x - 6

or, x = 6

So, the denominator is 6

numerator will be x - 4 = 6 - 4 = 2

hence , fraction is 2/ 6
