The orthocentre of the triangle formed by the
lines x + y = 1, 2x + 3y = 6 and 4x -y + 4 = 0
lies in,
(a) I quadrant (b) II quadrant
(c) III quadrant (d) IV quadrant

ortho centre means altitude's intersection

solving AB and BC we get B = (-3/5,8/5)
same way we get A= (-3,4) and C=(-3/7,16/7)
so all the vertices of the triangle lies in quadrant 2i.e., +ve y and -ve x
so the otho centre must lie in quadrant 2
