L1+L2=180. (Linear pair)
(5x-10)+(3x+60)=180
=(5x)+(3x)=180+10-60=130
=8x=130
=x=130/8
=x=16.25
.
.
L1=5x-10=5×16.25-10=71.25
L2=3x+60=3×16.25+60=108.75

InnocentBaadshah: u cant say both angles r in linear pair
Adeela14: According to my studies can say so Caz the question ask for L1 n L2
Adeela14: N L1& L2 r always linear
Adeela14: BTW Umeforever ..wlcm
gkhuteta999: Yes, you can't say that the angles 1 & 2 are in linear pair as it isn't given in the question and therefore, we can say rhat the question is misleading.
gkhuteta999: that
