Treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty or at least was meant to be a peace treaty between the allied and central powers of the WW1. But the terms of the treaty were of great contempt for Germany who was on the Central power.
It was quite humiliating as well because the terms of the treaty stated that Germany had to pay a huge amounts to the Allied powers ,it had to demilitarise the Rhine valley. And had to give away a lot of its territory.
