Area of the sector =  = 44.8 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  radius 5.6m and perimeter of a certain sector = 27.2m.

Perimeter of the sector = 2 * 5.6 + length of arc.

 27.2 = 11.2 +length of arc

So length of arc = 27.2 - 11.2 = 16 m

We know that (θ/360)(2πr) = 16.

   θ/360 = 16/2πr -------------(1)

Area of the sector =  (θ/360)(πr²) = 16/2πr * πr²

  = 8 * r

  = 8 * 5.6

= 44.8 m²
