Area of the sector = 44.46 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  radius 5.7m and perimeter of a certain sector = 27.2m.

Perimeter of the sector = 2 * 5.7 + length of arc.

 27.2 = 11.4 +length of arc

So length of arc = 27.2 - 11.4 = 15.8 m

We know that (θ/360)(2πr) = 15.8.

   θ/360 = 16/2πr -------------(1)

 Area of the sector =  (θ/360)(πr²) = 15.8/2πr * πr²

   = 7.8 * r

= 7.8 * 5.7

= 44.46 m²
