Answer :

Sides of parallelogram are 20cm , 35 cm , 20 cm ,35 cm.

Step by step explanation-

Given-

  • The perimeter of parallelogram is 110 cm.
  • One of its sides is greater than the other by 15cm.

To find-

  • Length of all sides of parallelogram.

Solution-

Let one side of parallelogram be \sf { x } cm.

Then, length of longer side is  \sf { ( x + 15 )} cm.

↦Perimeter of parallelogram = \sf {2(x + 15) + 2x}

= \sf {(4x + 30)cm}

As perimeter given = 110 cm

\sf {∴4x + 30 = 110}

\sf {↦4x = 110 - 30}

\sf {↦4x = 80}

\sf {↦x =  \frac{80}{4}}

\sf {↦x = 20cm}

Sides of parallelogram are

AD = BC = 20 cm

AB = DC = ( 20 + 15 ) cm = 35 cm.
