let the breadth be x m
length= 5x-4
per.= 40m
per. of rectangle= 2(L+B)
40= 2(5x-4+x)
40/2=6x-4
20+4= 6x
24=6x
x= 24/6
x=4
breadth= 4
length = 5x-4
5×4-4
20-4
length=16m
Area of rectangle= L×B
Area= 16×4
Area of rectangle= 64m^2
