The perimeter of a rectangle is 52m.the length is 2 more than twice its width fjnd the dimensions of the rectangke?

hey mate here's ur answer

let the width of rectangle be x m

and it's length be 2x + 2

given that perimeter of rectangle = 52 m

but we know that

perinatal of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 2(2x+2+x) = 52

=> 3x + 2 = 52/2

=> 3x = 26 - 2

=> x = 24/3

=> x = 8

so, width of rectangle = 8 m

and it's length = 2*8 + 2 = 16 + 2 = 18 m
