the perimeter of a rectangle swimming pool is 154 m. Its length is 2m more than twice its breadth.What are the length and the breadth of the pool?

Let us consider the breadth of the pool (b) = x meters 
Let us consider length of the pool (l) = x+2 metres
As we the perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)
Given the perimeter of the pool = 154 meters. 
i.e 2(l+b) = 154 meters
 2(x+2+x) = 154
2(2x+2) = 154
4(x+1) = 154
(x+1) = 154/4
(x+1) = 38.5
x = 37.5
Therefore breadth = x = 37.5 meters 
Length = x+2 = 37.5+2 = 39.5 meters
