The perimeter of a rectangular field is 480 meters. the respective ratio between its length and breadth is 5:3. what will be the area of the field?

the ratio of length and breath is 5:3

length =5x

breath = 3x

perimeter of rectangle=2(l + b)

480 = 2 (5x+3x)

480 = 2 (8x)

480 =16

x =480/16

x = 30

length = 5*30 = 150

breath =3*30 = 90

area = length *breath

= 150 * 90

= 13500 sq m
