2 × ( 3b + 2 ) = 154

6b + 4 = 154

$b = \frac{154 - 4}{6} \\ \\ b = \frac{150}{6}$

➡ b = 25 m

l = 2 × 25 + 2 = 52

So Length is 52 m & Breadth is 25m ✔✔✔

Let the breadth of this rectangular swimming pool be x

So, according to question the length will be : -
2x + 2;

And we know that the perimeter of this rectangular swimming is 154 m.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth )

Substituting the values ,

2 ( x + 2x + 2 ) = 154

Solving for x

2 ( 3x + 2 ) = 154

6x + 4 = 154

6x = 150

x = 25



Breadth of this rectangular field = x = 25 m
