perimeter \: of \: square  =48
4 \times side = 48
side = 48 \div 4
side = 12
area \: of \: square = side \times side
12 \times 12
144 sq.cm
area \: of \: rectangle = 144 - 4 = 140
given
length \: of \: rectangle=14 cm
length \times breadth=140
14 \times b = 140
b = 140 \div 4
b = 10
so \: perimeter=2 \times l+b
2 \times 14 + 10
2 \times 24
