Perimeter=40m
Breadth =x
Length=5x-4
Perimeter=2 (l+b)
40m=2 ({5x-4}+x)
40m=2 (6x-4)
40m=12x-8
40+8=12x
48=12x
x=48/12
x=4
Breadth =4
Length=(5×4)-4
=20-4
=16
Hope this is correct

Heya ✋

Let see your answer !!!!!

Given that

Perimeter of a rectangle = 40 m

Let the breadth of a rectangle be (x) m. Then,

length = (5x - 4) m

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

=> 40 = 2(5x - 4 + x)

=> 40 = 2(6x - 4)

=> 40 = 12x - 8

=> 40 + 8 = 12x

=> 48 = 12x

=> x = 48/12

=> x = 4

Hence , breadth = 4 m and

length = (5 × 4 - 4) m

= (20 - 4) m

= 16 m.

Thanks :))))
