the perimeter of rhombus hall 160 feet and it and one of its diagonal is 40 if the hall is to be carpeted what should be the area of carpet? [diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors]

here all sides are 40cm
and diagonal is also 40 cm
so now area of rhombus =
=2× area of equilateral triangle
= 2 × √3× 40^2/4
= 2×√3×1600/4
= 800√3 cm^2
