the perimeter of triangle is 90 cm and the length of its sides are in the ratio 6:5:4. find the length of the shortest side

To solve this add the total of all the numbers of the ratio.  6 + 5 + 4 = 15

Take that total and divide the perimeter by it.
90 ÷ 15 = 6

So each of those ratios need to be multiplied by 6, to get the measure of each side.

Length of the sides =
6 x 6 = 36cm
5 x 6 = 30cm
4 x 6 = 24cm

The length of the shortest side is 24cm.
