The physical features of India are complimentary to each other as they
all make our country rich in natural resources and without one the other has no significance.Himalayas are
a source of water and forest wealth and act as a natural climatic barrier. The Northern Plains are
agriculturally productive and make India rich in food grains. The Peninsular Plateau region is rich in mineral resources and forests and the coastal
regions and island provide a nice site of tourism, fishing and port activities.

Very well said. THe physiography of India is indeed complementary to each other. This is because the major physiographic divisions help each other to bring about the most important thing i.e THe indian south-west monsoons. if the Himalyas wouldn,t have been there cold waves from tibet woud have distroyed the low pressure which pulls the monsoons winds from the oceans. Secondly the diversity of the physiography make iNdia a small model of the globe where you could find all the desert, coastal areas and beaches. high mountain peaks and hill stations..vast plains , plateus and wonderful falls cascading through barren patlands. India is indeed incredible place....the incredible India.
