THE POLITICAL SITUATION OF RUSSIA IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHANGED THE ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEM

BECAUSE:::::::::::

  • The early 20th century Russia kicked off with numerous economic and political unrest. This was a period of social and political revolutions across the whole country. The first successful revolution occurred with the overthrowing of the monarchical rule in the country.
  • The Bolshevik Party led by Lenin and other revolutionary parties successfully overthrew the aristocratic rule of the Tsars in 1917 and established socialism in the country. The power of the reform movement entered the Russian politics in the shape of local political councils or soviets. The aristocratic rule came to an end.

  • The power now being in the hands of the revolutionaries, there arose a number of factions and radical socialists parties in the country. There was power struggle among the different parties.

  • The Bolsheviks on this garnered a new strategy of amassing support from the peasants with its socialistic ideologies. It gained a lot of support from the people as the country was torn apart by hunger and poverty at that time.

  • Finally, it established a socialist from of administration
