Answer:

hey mate here is your answer ,

let us assume the population to be 100

then,

15% of 100 will be 15 and increased population will be 115

now 15% decrease= 15/100×115=17.25

so, decreased population will be 115-17.25

= 97.75

so decrease percent in the initial population will be 100-97.75= 2.25

so decrease =

 \frac{2.25}{100}  \times 100

so decrease percent is 2.25%

hope it helps....... pls mark as the brainliest.

✰✰|| Given ||✰✰

  • population increases in particular year = 15%

  • population decrease next year = 15%

✰✰|| To Find ||✰✰

  • net increase or decrease percent

|| Solution ||

Let, the population of place be 100

increase population = 15%/100 × 100

increase population = 15

population in particular year = 100 + 15

population in particular year = 115

population decrease = 15/100 × 115

population decrease = 69/4

population decrease = 17.25

population in next year = 115 - 17.25

population in next year = 97.25

their is decrease in next year

decrease percent = 100 - 97.25/100 × 100

decrease percent = 2.25%

2.25% decrease
