Option (c)  p = 10000(\frac{26}{25})^t.

Given

To find the poulation, p of a town after t years is represented using the equation, p =  10000(1.04)^{-t}.

Which of the following is an equivalent expression?

(a) p = 10000(\frac{1}{25})^t

(b) p = 10000(\frac{25}{26})^t

(c) p = 10000(\frac{26}{25})^t

(d) p = 10000(\frac{25}{1})^t

Solution for above problem is, p = 10000(\frac{26}{25})^t. Because, dividing 26 by 25 gives (1.04).

Therefore, option (c) is the correct answer.
