then,

sonu's age be 1/3x.

after 4 years

sonu's age be 1/3x + 4

father's age be x +4

( 1/3x + 4 ) + (x + 4) = 60

=>1/3x + 4 + x + 4 = 60

=>4/3x + 8 = 60

=> 4/3x = 52

=> x = 52 × 3/4

=>x = 39 years

sonu's age= 1/3 × 39

= 13 years
