Hello Mate! Here is your answer:

Given,

Principal Focus (f) = 15 cm (positive)

Image Distance (v) = 10 cm (positive)

[These values are positive and negative due to the conventional rule of convex lens]

= 1/f = 1/v-1/u

= 1/u = 1/v-1/f

= 1/u = 1/10-1/15

= 1/u = (3-2)/30

= 1/u = 1/30

= u = 30 cm

Linear Magnification = v/u

= 10/30

= 1/3

= 0.34

The Object Distance should be 30 cm, the Object is virtual in nature and Linear Magnification is 0.34.

I hope this helps.
