P (a ) = 0.1
P (b) = 0.2

P ( a∪b ) =  P ( a ) + P ( b) -P ( a ∩ b )

P ( a ∪ b) = 0.1 + 0.2 - 0.02

P ( a ∪ b) = 0.3 - 0.02

P ( a ∪ b) = 0.28
