let the three consecutive numbers be 7,8 and 9. units digit of the number = 4, so it is divisible by 2. ... so, 504 is divisible by both 2 and 3 so 504 is divisible by 6. hence verified

I have given the reason why the product of 3 concsecutive no is divisible by 6

Yes , the product of 3 consecutive number is divisible by 6

the reason is , in every trio of three consecutive numbers , there is an even number which can be divided by 2 and also an odd number which can be divided by 3.

As we know that the divisibility rule for 6 is , the number must by divided by 2 and also 3

So , we can say that 6 can divide product of 3 consecutive numbers !
