x = 16y eq 1

xy = 1296

put x = 16y

$16y {}^{2} = 1296$

$y {}^{2} = 1296 \div 16$

$y = \sqrt{81} = 9$

Now put value of y in

x = 16y

x = 16 × 9 = 144

Numbers are 144 and 9
