The production manager in a large undertaking randomly paid 10 visits to a work site in a month. The number of workers who reported late for duty were found to be 2,4,5,1,6,3,2,1,7, and 8 respectively. Using the Wilcoxon signed rank test, verify the claim of the production superintendent at 0.05 level of significance that on an average not more than 3 workers report late for duty.

Let me help you in handling this;

The potential output of the company is dependent on the input put in place by workers in terms of their contribution in the production process.

From the case study it has been observed there is no single day that every employee was present in the company, this tells that the production rate is affected by this and the production manager should come up with ways of curbing absenteeism
